Lahore Master Plan 2050 is Approved by CM Parvez

Lahore Master Plan 2050 is approved by Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, as well as a ‘one-window’ facility for expatriates in Lahore Development Authority (LDA). On Monday, the chief minister spoke at a meeting of the LDA governing board where he said the one-window facility would allow overseas Pakistanis to buy plots from the LDA within a day. Not only overseas Pakistanis will be able to buy plots from LDA in a single day but also transfer the plots into their names. As well as directing officials to move rapidly on the Shahdara plan, he also asked them to begin construction work on it as soon as possible.

Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi took an important initiative for the convenience of overseas Pakistanis.

While securing the investment of Pakistani brothers coming from abroad, he stressed that no red tape will be allowed in the case of Overseas Pakistanis

Chaudhry Parvez Elahi also directed to make the Shahdara plan operational as soon as possible and start the construction.

He gives the approval for the construction of bikers and a head bridge for motorcyclists at Azadi Chowk and the approval for the construction of a flyover and underpass to make Akbar Chowk signal free. He also addressed the amendments in LDA Building and Zoning Regulation 2019 Under the Lahore Master Plan 2050, the residential needs of the growing population will be taken into consideration.

CM Parvez Elahi said that in order to reduce the population pressure in Lahore, the people living in the suburbs will be given the same facilities as the city. he directed that large-scale afforestation will be done to establish a buffer zone, the public transport system will be developed on modern lines, and interchanges and flyovers will be constructed to improve communication links.

He stated that it would be more beneficial to promote multi-story building culture instead of acquiring more agricultural land.

Approval to acquire land in Moza Chak Mazang, Johar Town

Approval of discussions with parties to resolve disputes in LDA Avenue One

Approval of Development Sub-Committee for LDA Schemes, Members of the Assembly will also be involved

Approval to resolve pending matters in Mouz Kharak, Khyber Block, Allama Iqbal Town, and Gulshan Ravi as per judicial and legal orders.

Approval of extension of the payment period for defaulters of LDA Avenue One

Approval to lift the ban on development work for TEPA

Approval of regularization of plots in Johar Town pending for a period of time

CM Parvez accords approval to Lahore Master Plan-2050. A variety of approvals were also directed by him so that Lahore’s quality of life could be enhanced. In order to make buying property from Pakistan easier for overseas Pakistanis, he made many beneficial decisions.
